SRTS 2020

After careful consideration, SRTS has made the difficult decision to cancel the April 8-10, 2020 Symposium. Our top priority in making the decision was the health and safety of our attendees, presenters and scholars. We are also aware that the many travel restrictions mandated by agencies and universities prohibit most of our presenters, attendees, and scholars from attending and we could not provide the quality conference SRTS is so proud to offer annually. Although we are incredibly disappointed about this news, we are already discussing plans for our 2021 Symposium as well as some on line continuing education opportunities for recreational therapy professionals and students. Your fees paid thru our on line process will automatically be credited back minus the online fee assessed by the company (beginning March 18th). You should reach out to cancel your own lodging with the facility. Please continue to check our website and social media outlets as well as your email inbox for more information as plans are developed by the SRTS Board. Thank you so much for your understanding and support of SRTS, and most importantly, we hope that you and your family remain healthy. Should you have any questions about the Symposium please reach out to our Board Chair Kathy Williams at kdwillia@vbgov.com

Sincerely.

Southeast Recreational Therapy Symposium, Board of Directors
